The chrome on this case is far better than any other examples I have seen and is more like the later hard shiny chromed finish Smiths used by the late 1950's

Frosted Gilt English Made Lever Movement, C Series, With Mono Metallic Balance With Flat Hairspring, In Excellent Working Order, Fully Overhauled. The Dial In Very Average Condition With Some Dial Discolouration And Case Marks, Priced Accordingly. The Rootes Engraving Is Much Rarer Than The Austin One, And Covers
